Natural light changes colour perception
The same wallpaper can look different in daylight and artificial light. Warm undertones can make north-facing or darker rooms feel more comfortable, while cooler and neutral tones may work well in rooms with strong daylight.
Flooring and walls should not compete
If the flooring has a strong texture or pattern, a calmer wall background can keep the interior from feeling overloaded. With a simple floor, decorative wallpaper can become the main visual feature.
Creating visual space in smaller rooms
Light beige, cream, soft grey and other neutral tones can make compact rooms feel more open. Fine vertical patterns may also help some rooms appear taller.
Evaluate the sample in the real room
A colour seen on a screen can differ from the physical material. When possible, evaluate the sample in the room’s own light next to the furniture and flooring before making a final decision.
